ICARIA celebrates its 2nd Plenary Meeting to share the progress of the project

ICARIA held its second Plenary Meeting in Rhodes on 26th–27th May, bringing together all project partners to review progress and plan the next stages. The event provided a valuable opportunity to discuss enhancing regional climate resilience for critical infrastructure across sectors such as water, energy, and transport.

During the meeting, participants also explored the project’s modelling framework, which is enabling a deeper understanding of the impacts of climate-related extreme events. In addition, they examined the risk assessment tools under development, designed to support the creation of appropriate and sustainable adaptation measures that will mitigate threats and improve preparedness for severe weather events.
