Meet the team: Rita Brito
Rita Brito is Research Assistant at LNEC and the leader of Work Package 3-Impacts Evaluation and DSS (Decision Support System). Find out more about her role in the project:
- What is ICARIA for you? ICARIA provides an opportunity to develop and share innovative methods and strategies aimed at enhancing understanding of the impacts of complex climate change-related events and improving the resilience of critical infrastructure to such challenges.
- ICARIA in three words: ICARIA allows society to be better prepared for climate change.
- What is your role in ICARIA? I am the leader of WP3, joining efforts regarding impact evaluation, gathering of adaptation solutions, and ensuring resilience assessment is comprehensive and a valued input for decision-making. I also coordinate the participation of LNEC (the Portuguese National Laboratory for Civil Engineering) in the project, primarily contributing to the development of the holistic resilience assessment framework and the ICARIA resilience web platform.
